This annual contest is part of the international festival Egyptian Bellydance and is an event open to every dancer who can perform Egyptian raqs sharqi, the solo dance of the East. To enter the event, pick up an entry form in Sinners restaurant on Parliament street, Dublin 2 available from September onwards. Closing date for entry forms for 2010 is 31st October. Entry also by e-mail to yasmindance@yahoo.ie.
Judging panel will include international and local judges with many years of experience in dance. This festival aims to promote the art of Bellydance in Ireland and its culture with workshops, master classes, performances and bazaar. An event not to be missed for all lovers of Bellydance.
